January 8, 2014 at 7:29 am #12509
hi there, is it possible, to take the portfolio from simplecrp which is on the homepage and put it directly under the 3 boxes?January 9, 2014 at 12:05 am #12520
Yeah, you can copy code from file template.portfolio, starting from
<!-- begin section -->and ending at
<!-- end section -->
And paste it in file home, above
<?php get_footer(); ?>
Remove (portfolio) pagetitle from this code:
<h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

I’m not talking about the whole portfolio page, just the one from the startpage just above the footer, the 4 preview, I would like to put it in my webfolios startpage.January 9, 2014 at 8:06 pm #12532
Code structure of SimpleCorp is different from Webfolio, don’t know if this is possible.

Most simple way is to create multiple portfolio categories (= types) and add all of them to your menu via the WordPress dashboard menupage.

Hi Guido …
Thanks for the reply …
still in doubt …
I am clear that from the control panel / menu you can add categories. But (TYPE) is not visible.
There are some examples for these steps?April 26, 2014 at 7:28 pm #14809
Type should be available there (if you have created them), maybe they are turned off (check screensettings on the top right of dashboard page).

Hey thanks guido …
It was right, I had activated the box types.
I have one more question … is it possible to avoid PrettyPhoto when clicking above image portfolio. I want to click image to redirect to a page as it does when clicking on the name
excellent theme.April 27, 2014 at 11:45 am #14817
(it’s a solution for SimpleCorp, for Webfolio you should adjust file template.portfolio)
GuidoApril 29, 2014 at 1:02 am #14878
It’s great that solution is exactly what I want, but when I put (TYPES) in the main menu. redirection does not work on the image in the text only. Could you tell me how to fix it. thanksApril 29, 2014 at 12:20 pm #14891
You are right, it’s not the same code as SimpleCorp.
Look for this line in file home:
<img src="<?php echo of_get_option('webfolio_homecontent1img') ?>" class="alignleft" alt="<?php echo of_get_option('webfolio_homecontent1title') ?>" />
Add this before:
<a href="<?php echo of_get_option('webfolio_homecontent1url') ?>">
Add this after:
Note: do this for all 3 boxes (don’t forget to change the number from 1 into 2 and 3).

Thanks for the response Guido
I followed the steps you provided me but …
at home I have not file the same data.
” class=”img-align-left” alt=”<?php echo of_get_option(‘sc_homecontent1title’) ?>” />
and I have 4 of these links
however I tried to enter the code that gave me
I also tried to enter the code that gave me changing the following:
‘webfolio_homecontent1url’ changing by it ‘sc_homecontent1url’all 4 links but neither yielded a result.
You can tell me one other solution. I hope answers
Thanks for your time.April 30, 2014 at 6:37 am #14910
