When I make a post if it has an image at the top the image is not appearing in the preview on the main page. But it appears correctly in the full post.
How can I fix this?
Here is an example:
If you click on “TEST POST” you will see that there is an image. But why is this not showing in post listing on the main page?
Try adding that picture as Featured Image for the post (right sidebar).
I tried that picture as Featured Image for the post, but thumbnail not showing on the main page.
Why is this?
If you go to EDIT your post, can you see your image in the right-hand column as a “featured image”? Like this…
Thank you for your message.
I added an image in the right-hand column as a “featured image”.
Like this.(sorry for displaying in Japanese.)
But not appearing on the main page like this.
This is happening with my site too. The featured image has been added but appears blank on front page. Is there a known issue?
Please give us your URLs for the websites.
It’s the Macklemore post. I have inserted a featured image but it doesn’t display on the front page.
Please open /lib/post-formats/content.php and on the first line replace:
<? the_post_thumbnail('post-thumb'); ?>
<?php the_post_thumbnail('post-thumb'); ?>
Than you so much!
Not only did that not work for me, it broke the template so now standard post has a parse error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home/content/l/a/r/DELETED NAME HERE FOR SECURITY/html/offbeatshopping/wp-content/themes/clippy/lib/post-formats/content.php on line 1
Image posts don’t show image. Love this theme, would really like to get it fixed.
Please paste here the code in the first line.
Is there a way to set pics hosted at other places as featured image? I would like to use CDN to host all my images…
I am also having this issue. Despite replacing the code it’s still not showing featured images. Can you help?
