    Hi,

    Don’t have experience with this kind of plugins.
    Via Google I notice several WordPress plugins which can do that. I guess you should add a shortcode in your file header in order to let it work.
    Best thing to do is browse the plugins on WorPress.org and try several.

    Hi,

    After you created a ticker you can copy-paste the shortcode in file header, for example underneath:
    <!-- end #pre-header -->

    You need to use the shortcode underneath: Direct Function

    Hi,

    Open WP dashbord and go to News Ticker > Settings. Here you can add your own markup (css), for example:
    .mtphr-dnt-tick-container {background:#000; color:#fff; padding: 5px 0;}

    Happy new year to you!

    Thanks Guido, I will try.
    Oh ya where should exactly I put the news ticker direct function “<?php if(function_exists(‘ditty_news_ticker’)){ditty_news_ticker(1514);} ?>
    “. You told that underderneath <!– end #pre-header –>. But yesterday I’ve try and the result the header composition is messed up (social icon) location is shifting from it’s normal position.

    Happy new year too! 🙂
    Best wishes for 2014.

    Guido, please also response my new post about how to make distance of blurb closer between image slide and header.

    Guess adding clear: both will solve this:
    .mtphr-dnt-tick-container {clear:both; background:#000; color:#fff; padding: 5px 0;}

    Hi,

    Your site URL is blocked again > I’m redirected to Google.

    If your footer is mis-aligned in post, you can try this:

    Open file comments
    There are 9 x div but only 7 x /div

    So change the /li into a /div in these 2 lines:
    1 after line that contains: ‘comments-logged-in-as’
    1 after line that contains: ‘textarea name’

    Guido

    ps. when you include code please use the -code- button in de markup bar (1 click before and 1 click after adding the code)

    Hi Guido,
    Here I’ve tried to change this:
    1. <div class=”comments-logged-in-as”><?php _e(“Logged in as “, “site5framework”); ?>/wp-admin/profile.php”><?php echo $user_identity; ?>. ” title=”Log out of this account”><?php _e(“Log out » “, “site5framework”); ?></div>

    2. <div class=””>
    <label for=”comment”><?php _e(“Message “, “site5framework”); ?></label>
    <textarea name=”comment” id=”comment” tabindex=”4″></textarea>
    </div>

    But I don’t understand to “ps. when you include code please use the -code- button in de markup bar (1 click before and 1 click after adding the code)”. The footer is still mis-aligned. Here is the preview:

    So nothing changed in footer after changed /li into /div? It should be displayed better.

    If you include code into your post on this forum, you should use the code button that is displayed in the markup bar above the tekst input area. So click on button code, paste your code and click on button /code
    Code is displayed much better than without using that button
