Thanks for the tip but I can’t seem to find standard.php?December 30, 2012 at 10:14 pm #5033
standard.php in the theme : \lib\post-formats\standard.phpDecember 31, 2012 at 2:00 am #5034
Thanks, got it.December 31, 2012 at 2:16 am #5035
That still didn’t work, I ended up getting some weird symbols for the title instead. I did some research and got this code to work: <code><a href=”<?php the_permalink() ?>” title=”<?php the_title(); ?>”><h2><?php the_title(); ?></h2></a></code>
Note: without the <code> tagsJanuary 13, 2013 at 12:47 pm #5405
Sorry, but neither of both codes on these posts works. They only put some rare symbols on screen instead of the title. And they does it just with my last post on frontapage, but they doesn’t any change on the title of the first post.
Any other idea?
Thank you.January 14, 2013 at 2:43 pm #5441
Hey Please open the lib/post-formats/standart.php and find line 5:
and change this line by:
<a href="< ?php the_permalink() ?>" title="< ?php the_title(); ?>" rel="nofollow">< ?php the_title('<h2>', '</h2>'); ?></a>
Actually you can find this answer given first message.
1. Please make sure same file you edited
2. And also make sure wp super cache plugin deactivate.
3. Maybe you make mistake when copy and paste this code. Check them, what you copied.

Ok，Thank you @bulent.sahin, I got it. And May I modify your theme? I want to add something to complete the theme for using in my blog.January 17, 2013 at 9:21 am #5534

Sorry, but the code you gave me doesn’t work. After replace the original line you have pointed me for that code the title is gone, and instead I got a line that shows part of the code as a link, and with some strange characters…
This is the second time I test it, and the problem is the same.
Are you sure that when you paste the code on this forum it is pasted correctly without loss characters?
Thank you.January 18, 2013 at 8:05 am #5556
Yes, the code pasted here is correct.
Try this too, instead of above, it might work for you:
The code suggested above should have worked, this is why i ask if you can, please, give us the URL you’re working on?January 19, 2013 at 9:54 am #5582
I’ve tried again with that code, but I’ve got en error again. Curiosly, the error happens only on the first and third post, but not in the second (the blog is new, and I only have 3 posts).
As I can’t leave the code with the error in my blog, here you see an image with the error:
I’m using the standard theme without any modification, and the same por WordPress.
